Public Works
The Pic Mobert First Nation maintains approximately 15km of loose surface
roads. It is the goal of the First Nation to pave these roads by 2010.
The water treatment and sewage systems of the Pic Mobert First Nation are
currently being upgraded to meet with Provincial and Federal standards.
Housing
The Pic Mobert First Nation provides affordable housing opportunities to
its band membership. The First Nation currently owns and maintains 100
housing units.
Ten (10) new homes were built in 1999, in addition, twenty-six (26) units
were built in 1997. These housing units were built by Guild Crest Homes.
Ten (10) three and four bedroom homes were built in 1988. The remaining
fifty-four (54) are older homes built between 1960 and 1987.
Twelve (12) new homes were built in 2007 with new tenant occupancy in
December 2007.
